those in need
To rescue, rehabilitate and rehome those in need. To be the voice for the voiceless and educate those who feel the need to breed. To advocate for change in livestock laws and provide sanctuary for the less adoptable animals.

Beginning September 1, 2018, we will begin requiring an owner surrender fee in order for our rescue to take in animals. We are constantly inundated with requests and the funds simply are not available to take all animals.
The fee schedule will be as follows
Dogs: $ 40.00
Cats: $ 20.00
We cannot take all animals that we are asked to take and we will only take the ones we have open space and funding to care for.
Our volunteer team is currently building shelters for the horses within our rescue. Filling the barn with hay before those long, cold winter months are upon us. Fundraising to cover our outstanding vet bills. Make your tax-deductible contribution now.
Rescue isn't seasonal, which is why our year-round efforts get attention. Devote an afternoon to mucking stalls, grooming horses, joining an adoption event, transporting an animal in need or loading hay/grain into the barn and see first-hand the animals we help daily.
Adams County Indiana is pretty cool to visit and we try to have fun with all we do.

We are looking for individuals who can donate 1 day per month. We have volunteer opportunities in marketing, fundraising, adoption events, fostering of both horses and dogs, transporting of rescue animals, home visits, setting up and monitoring online auctions for fundraising. As a volunteer all your miles and donations associated with the rescue and fostering are tax deductible, be sure to ask your tax adviser how to take advantage of this option. .
